I absolutely loved this book. The author takes her time weaving a story that captivates you from beginning to end. I'm impressed to read such a beautiful love story that left no questions unanswered. Best book I've read in a while and worth every penny!!!

So I felt I had to write a review because although I liked the book

Okay. So I felt I had to write a review because although I liked the book, there were a couple of things that felt off.

Positive points:

*. The author has a way of weaving a good story. It was interesting and relatable
*. Dialogue was witty and made me laugh out loud several times
*. Good relationships between the female characters and friendships

Negative-- Spoiler alert

E *. To be honest, I didn't understand the relationship between girl and the guy she evtuslly ended up with. We didn't get to know him at all and I didn't know why she was in love with him., I liked Dev better than the Ravi because I felt I knew him more. Heck, I knew Rahul and Anand more. There was no development of the love between those two or any reason they should love each other. It was abrupt and a bit disappointing. In the end, I didn't feel anything. Neither Happy nor sad....just indifference when they got together.

Alan Bryman is Professor of Organizational and Social Research, School of Management, University of Leicester, UK.

Emma Bell is Professor of Management and Organisation Studies and Head of the Centre for Economics and Management at Keele Management School. Her research is framed by a desire to understand cultures and belief systems in organizations. She has also studied business improvement initiatives and organizational change. Emma was a member of the British Academy of Management Council, and is current Co-Chair of the US Academy of Management Critical Management Studies Division. Her early working life included a period as a graduate trainee in the UK National Health Service. Emma s PhD was an ethnographic study of payment systems and organizational time in the chemical industry. She has always been interested in methods and methodologies of management research and the ways in which management knowledge is created. Recently, Emma has been involved in a number of projects related to visual analysis of organizations and management. She is a founding member of InVisio - the International Network of Visual Studies in Organizations, and worked on an ESRC Researcher Development Initiative to promote the development of visual analysis in management research.

About the Author

STUART D. B. PICKEN is Professor of Philosophy at International Christian University in Tokyo, where he specializes in ethics and Japanese thought. He is also an adviser on international affairs for the High Priest of the Tsubaki Grand Shrine, and was formerly Director of the Centre for Japanese Studies and Visiting Professor of Japanese Thought at the University of Stirling. He has published more than half a dozen books and some 130 articles and papers.

Full of errors

This book might not seem so overpriced if it had been written and edited well. But be forewarned: it's not. It's full of egregious errors of fact and scholarly convention, not to mention unbelievable typos (check out the *kanji* in the glossary for starters). Before deciding to purchase this book for a library, one should consult reviews in professional journals like *Journal of Japanese Studies*, *Japanese Religons* (from NCC Center), and *Journal of Asian Studies*.

I also noticed the kanji errors and some sloppy scholarship. If this were one of my PhD students I would tell them to resubmit the manuscript.
