Wonderful Product

I'm a second year nursing student and am not the over-the-top all A student that some people seem to be. When I first began studying nursing I was lucky to get a C. So naturally when I heard word of the dreaded "fluid and electrolytes" exam, I freaked! Everybody says that this will be the hardest exam you will ever face as a nursing student, and when it came time for lecture I could see why. There was so much material to cover and soooooooo much studying to be done. I was afraid that I would fail miserably come exam time, and I already have some of the "nursing made incredibly easy" books. I love them because they make key nursing points so simple. One day while studying, it dawned on me: "I wonder if there's a Fluid & Electrolytes Made Incredibly book out there somewhere?" Luckily I found this on here and paid for next-day shipping!! It was well worth the money =) I read the majority of this book in a week, and it made what I was studying from my notes so easy to understand, especially when it came to diffusion, osmosis, and activated transported. I only missed 8 questions on my exam out of 60, an 86%. I was proud of myself, and if you are a nursing stduent like me who needs everything broken down into simple terms, do yourself a big favor and buy this book! You'll be thankful you did, you deserve to pass!! =)

Very Helpful For 1st Nursing Class

This book helped make sense of all of those different fluids and electrolytes that we had to learn and memorize for our first nursing class. There is a lot of information and it's covered in such a way that makes learning easy. I will absolutely buy additional books from the Incredibly Easy line of books for use in future classes.

This book was awesome. I read it before an upcoming test on fluid and electrolytes for my busing curriculum and it helped immensely. It really broke everything down. The pictures helped the most as it was easier to visually see what they were talking about. I definitely recommend this book to everyone taking a nursing course!

About the Author
Dirk Mateer has a Ph.D. from Florida State University and is the Senior Lecturer and Gerald Swanson Chair of Economic Education at the University of Arizona. Dirk has been teaching Principles of Economics for over twenty years; he specializes in the Principles of Microeconomics. Before moving to the University of Arizona, Dirk spent 1 year at the University of Kentucky developing their online Principles courses and 15 years at Penn State where he taught very large classes (700 plus students per lecture), developing a reputation as one of the most effective and creative instructors of Principles of Economics in the country; for this, he was recently featured in Businessweek.

Lee Coppock has a Ph.D. from George Mason University and is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Virginia. Like Dirk Mateer, Lee has been teaching Principles of Economics for over twenty years; he specializes in the Principles of Macroeconomics. Lee has been at UVA for more than ten years, where he teaches very large classes (600 plus students per lecture) and has become a local legend. He is especially well known for cutting through the jargon and “econ speak” that plagues so many economics courses and texts, and patiently explaining the lessons of modern economics in terms that his students readily understand.

The Map to Creating a New and Exciting Life

I bought this book because I was tired of procrastinating in my life, overeating and overspending. I was just not moving forward in my life. I wanted to break the cycle of diving into bad habits of fear, being overwhelmed, and jumping between living in the past and the unnamed future. I wanted to find a way to live in the now and have the wonderful life we are all entitled to. This book gives you the tools to do just that.

The journey you take on your individually mapped landscape will provide you with wonderful tools to deal with your ego and goblins and the past you cling to. There are also tools and allies to help you plant new seeds and take action in the present to create the life you deserve.

But you have to do more than read the book. You have to do the journal exercises so you can gain the awareness you need to let go of the past, stop fretting about the future and live for today. I have read hundreds of self help books, but this is the first one I have read that actually gives powerful tools that work when you use them. Amazing and Extremely Creative!

When I received The Map, I started flipping through the first few pages only to find myself hours later still enthralled by all that I was reading. I literally finished it over a snowy New England weekend. There are amazing exercises throughout the book to help you connect with different archetypical and mythological creatures and landscapes that represent where you are in your life (on your Map). You then have an opportunity to evaluate and determine if where you are on your map is: 1) where you want to be and 2) serving the greater purpose for your life. I have never encountered a book that guides readers through an introspective process of self-discovery like this one. Colette Baron-Reid is brilliant and creative and I would not be surprised if this book becomes a classic.

About the Author

Robert D. Zettle, Ph.D., is associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Wichita State University. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Center for Cognitive Therapy in Philadelphia, conducted the first comparative outcome study on what is now known as ACT as part of his dissertation under the supervision of ACT founder Steven Hayes, and has published both basic and applied research relating to rule-governance, experiential avoidance, and ACT for depression for more than twenty years.

Easy to read with many examples that can be applied

Once you get through the dry theory of ACT (first few chapters), the rest of the text is very friendly, easy to read and apply, with many helpful exercises and examples to apply in clinical practice.

ACT For Depression: You'll love it!

Folks, this is an absolute must-read for anyone who works with depression. It's accessible, easy-to-read, written with great clarity, goes through the ACT model in more depth than any previously-published ACT book, and gives excellent guidance on how to apply the model to a myriad of different clinical issues with depression. One thing I really like about it, that differentiates it from other ACT clinical guides, is that it's NOT written as a protocol (ie session 1 you do XYZ, session 2 you do ABC etc). Of course, there's nothing wrong with protocol-style books; John Forsyth and Robyn Walser have both written fantastic ones on ACT with PTSD and Anxiety Disorders. It's just that, in my opinion, the drawback to a protocol is it doesn't allow you any flexibility; there's no wiggle-room. What I like about Rob's book is it talks about classes of problems and classes of interventions, so you can put it all together to fit your client's presentation, rather than trying to get the client to fit your protocol. It's also jam-packed full of useful resources and client handouts.

Get Introudced to A Great Series

This is a great way to get introduced to the series. I have read all the books in the series and really enjoy the story of this pack and how they meet their mates. The have to face a lot of obstacles to get together with the one the belong with. It often means putting their lives at risk to protect the one they love. The author has now added some bonus scenes to make it even better.

Ty is meant to be the Alpha and his father has plans for how that is all going to work. He doesn't count on Ty finding a different mate than the one he selected.

Cody is the fun loving brother and he enjoys a life of easy unlike his brother Ty. When he falls for someone he shouldn't, he will have to work harder than ever to prove himself and save her.

Kyle and Stefanie find their way back together and could find a sense of peace they have have been missing. They will have to fight hard to make it work.

I would encourage you to check out all the books in the series. They are great reads for those who love paranormal romances with rich characters and strong stories.

only to come across the smell of who she thought was the most wonderful smelling person

Desert Moon
When fate decides who you will spend you life loving, you just can't say no, even if it takes a dozen years or so before you finally find the one you've been looking for after scenting them. When she was younger, Lana visited Twin Moon Ranch with her Nan, only to come across the smell of who she thought was the most wonderful smelling person, and her wolf agreed. But, she never did find him. All those years ago, Ty was away on a mission with his father, only to come home to the ranch and smell his fated mate. But she was nowhere to be found. Now, Lana is back to help Nan settle in with her friend Jean, then she plans to head back to the east coast. But her wolf has other plans as soon as she scents her mate. Only one problem...Ty is stuck on the smell of a memory, and hasn't figured out yet that Lana is the one. With so much going on at the ranch, and his father, the alpha of the pack, away on business, will they ever manage to finally accept that they are meant to be together? Will the interference from other jealous pack members keep them apart? Because we all know, when you're alpha in waiting and the best looking many in hundreds of miles, what woman doesn't want you? Are you ready for an adventure? I hope so, because this book is one adventure after another, never a dull moment and extremely hard to put down once you start reading. Loved this book and looking forward to the next in the series.

Spring Hollow – bonus scene to Desert Moon
Wow! I loved reading Desert Moon, and having this bonus chapter just puts the book a whole other level. Ty and Lana have already had to clear so many hurdles to get to where they belong, and this is like the icing on the top of the cake to see them so blissful in their relationship. The need for each other is definitely clear, as is their love and devotion to each other. I’m sure Anna could go on forever with her characters with her talent, and I for one, wouldn’t mind it at all. I absolutely love her style and simply can’t get enough of her Desert Moon habitants.

Desert Blood
Another awesome tale in the Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series. This time around, we are captured by Cody, the Don Juan of the ranch. When on the run Heather finally decides that she has gotten to a place that feels right, like coming home, she stops. She knows it will only be temporary, because she's not sure just how long her luck will hold up, and how long she will be safe here, but something tells her that this is the place to be...for now. She finds a house to rent, and a job as a teacher, filling in for Janice, who has left on a leave to take care of a family member. Little did she know, she also found peace. And lets not forget...Cody. She knows that there is something between them, but she can't put her finger on it. And she's not sure if she can trust him, because past experience has left her burnt so many times, she has learned to not trust anyone. Cody, the forever flirt, feels like he's been hit over the head with a two tonne brick. The moment he sees and scents Heather, he knows she's his fated mate. The only problem is...she's human. But, both of them have secrets, and truly don't know how to tell the other, because let's face it, who would ever believe them? And let's not forget the Alpha, Cody's father, who rules the pack with an iron fist, and the old rules simply state...no mating with humans. Will they manage to forge a life together? Will Heather even be able to survive if they find her? Will she have to pick up and run again...soon? This book is a standalone, and can be enjoyed as such, but is much better when read in order of the series, if for nothing else but to have the background of the pack. Can't wait to read Kyle's and Tina's stories. Once again, Anna has given us a wonderfully written tale that is easy to follow and even easier to fall in love with.

Hot Blooded Desert Nights - Bonus scene to Desert Blood
HOT! HOT! HOT! If the rest of the story was half as hot as this part, and we all know it was at least as hot, we could burn down many buildings. Cody and Heather are still in the throes of discovery during this intense scene, not quite sure if they should trust each other with their secrets, but knowing that their need for each other is so overwhelming that they have no choice but to follow Fate's path set out for them. As usual, Anna Lowe has given us an intense bonus that leaves you panting and drooling for more, so much more! Absolutely beautiful.

Desert Fate
OMG! This is a story that really packs a punch! The third book in the Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series, the author gives us Kyle, a human cop turned shifter by a rogue wolf. He's been living on the outskirts of the ranch for the past five years, and still not sure of his place in the pack. He is the pack's "inside informer" for any information they need regarding suspicious activity outside the pack's boundaries, as he is still employed as a state trooper. Kyle is a dark, brooding character who just doesn't feel like he fits anywhere, and not just with the pack. An "army brat" as a child, with an abusive step father, he never found stability, being forced to move too often to find roots anywhere. There was only one person from his youth that truly understood him, and she was also from an army family, moving every year or so. Stephanie knew him better than anyone else, but that was so many years ago, and they were only kids. So imagine his surprise when he stumbles upon a woman in the desert, and not just any woman, but Steph, and she's a changeling...just like him. Now is his chance to possibly repay her for all of her understanding way back when. He knows what she's going through, knows how she feels, and knows what she will need to do. Only problem is, his wolf doesn't only want to protect her...he wants to claim her for his own. With another pack vying for her, being the one that changed her, against her will and knowledge, time is definitely not on their side.
With lots of action, a bit of suspense, tons of tension and some heavy panting, oh! and don't forget the hot, steamy sex, this book will have you struggling to come up for some air on more than one occasion. A great addition to the series, and a must read in my opinion, you won't want to miss this one. Looking forward to reading Tina's tale next. Loved this book and love the series. Anna Lowe, you have done an outstanding job!

A Desert Valentine - Bonus scene for Desert Fate
What a way to top off what I think is an awesome book to begin with. If you have read Desert Fate, then you won’t want to miss this short epilogue. If you haven’t read it already, What are You Waiting For? You are missing out on some of the best shifter stories out there, and this one is like the cherry on the top of the ice cream sundae.
It was so nice to get a glimpse of Kyle and Steph once again, as they progress with their relationship together as mates. Having the story set on such a romantic holiday was like the cream in a kitten’s bowl. It also reminds us that you don’t have to spend a fortune on inornate objects to show the one you love just how much you cherish them. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the difference. About the Author
Frank J. Matera was for many years the Andrews-Kelly-Ryan Professor of Biblical Studies at the Catholic University of America. A former president of the Catholic Biblical Association of America, he is presently the pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Simsbury, Connecticut. He has published commentaries on Romans, Second Corinthians, and Galatians and written books on New Testament theology, New Testament Christology, New Testament ethics, and Pauline theology. Matera’s previous works published by Liturgical Press include Galatians in the Sacra Pagina series, Strategies for Preaching Paul, Preaching Romans: Proclaiming God’s Saving Grace, and most recently The Sermon on the Mount: The Perfect Measure of the Christian Life.
